The Standard OnePlus 12 Now Has 12GB Of RAM, However The 24GB Model Might Not Be Available Everywhere

Although the OnePlus 12 has already made its debut in China, it won’t be available everywhere for another month or so. According to recent reports, the OnePlus 12 will continue to ship with 8GB of RAM while upgrading to at least 12GB on the worldwide market.

The OnePlus 12, the worldwide version, would be available in two varieties in India, according to 91Mobiles source leaker Ishan Agarwal. The other OnePlus 12 option will have 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, while the first will have 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. That is consistent with the Chinese release, which has a 24GB version as well. As of right now, there has been no information regarding the global release. Notable is the fact that OnePlus appears to be eschewing the 24GB category, at least in India and perhaps elsewhere.

The base variant of the OnePlus 11 has 8GB of RAM instead of 12GB, even though it also had a 16GB/512GB tier. This significant update more closely aligns OnePlus’s release with Google’s Pixel 8 Pro, which is likewise equipped with 12GB of RAM. Notably, the Galaxy S23 Ultra still comes with 8GB of RAM.

In addition, the OnePlus 12R would come with a base configuration of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, with a second model available that packs 16GB RAM and 256GB of storage.

As previously announced, OnePlus plans to release the OnePlus 12 series worldwide on January 23. Additionally, it has confirmed that the OnePlus 12R will be available for purchase in markets in North America and Europe.
