One UI 6 Based On Android 14 Is Finally Released For The Samsung Galaxy A13 4G

Finally joining the Android 14 party three weeks after its 5G sibling, the cost-effective Galaxy A13 4G is now available. In Korea, the deployment seems to have started, and in the upcoming weeks, further availability is anticipated.

The Galaxy S24, the company’s current flagship model, receives updates for up to seven years, however the A13 only receives two significant OS changes, meaning Android 14 will be the last. It might yet get the One UI 6.1 update, though, before feature updates stop coming.

Through the Settings > Software update option on their phone, Korean users can discover the update, which is identified as firmware version A135NKSU5DWL5. People in other areas should soon be on the lookout for the update message.

The update includes a number of enhancements. With faster access to your most frequently used settings, the Quick Panel is now simpler to use. With the latest upgrade to the emoji library, your messages will now be more humorous and expressive.

There’s also a new, more readable default typeface. The lock screen clock widget may now be customised in terms of size, style, and placement. The media player widget gets a sleek new design featuring dynamic waveforms.

The Gallery, Internet, Messages, Phone, and Reminders apps from Samsung have been redesigned to look better. For a more straightforward look, some apps have even abandoned the “Samsung” moniker. It is simpler to edit photos with the improved user-friendliness of the photo editor. For all of your video editing requirements, there’s also a brand-new programme named “Studio.”

Note that the Galaxy A13 4G has the following specifications: 6.6-inch Full HD+ display; 8MP front camera; quad-camera rear setup with 50MP main sensor; Exynos 850 processor; 4GB or 6GB RAM; 64GB or 128GB storage; and 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging (although the included charger is only 15W).
