This movie, which opens on May 10, 2024, transports viewers to a new planet where apes reign and people fight to survive. Fans are excited to watch how this chapter plays out because it features a new cast and an intriguing plot.

Date of Release

On May 10, 2024, “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” will make its theatrical debut. It has been almost seven years since the last film in the series.

Theatrical Release and Streaming

The movie will premiere exclusively in theatres, but it will likely eventually be available for streaming on Hulu or Disney+. Disney’s purchase of Comcast’s Hulu share may lead to a merger of the two systems, giving users access to a single streaming choice.

On November 2, 2023, the first teaser trailer for “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” was unveiled. A second video was then shown during the Super Bowl. With a new lead ape and a more sophisticated storytelling style, these teasers allude to a new direction for the franchise.

The movie centres on Noa, a young ape who learns about Caesar’s legacy, and is set 300 years after Caesar’s passing. The main enemy is the despotic ape leader Proximus Caesar. The narrative looks at issues of leadership, legacy, and both species’ futures.

Alongside Kevin Durand as Proximus Caesar and Peter Macon as Raka, Owen Teague plays the role of Noa. Played by Freya Allan, Mae is a human who travels with Noa. Eka Darville, William H. Macy, and other actors make up the ensemble cast.

Production Team

The film is directed by Wes Ball, who is best known for the “The Maze Runner” series. Josh Friedman, Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, and Patrick Aison wrote the screenplay. The production, which was shot at Disney Studios Australia, completed up in February 2023 and promised an amazing cinematic experience both physically and emotionally.
