The jury for the 73rd Berlinale will be headed by Kristen Stewart

The international jury will be led by Kristen Stewart in 2023, festival organizers announced on Friday.

At the 73rd Berlinale, the American actor, screenwriter, and director who starred in “Twilight” and recently received an Oscar nomination for her role as Princess Diana in “Spencer” will lead the panel of judges.

Festival directors Mariette Rissenbeek and Carlo Chatrian said in a statement, “She’s one of the most talented and multi-faceted actors of her generation.” They added, “With an impressive body of work behind her, Kristen Stewart is the perfect bridge between the United States and Europe.”

In 2017, Stewart made her directorial and screenwriting debut, and the following year, she served on the international jury at the Cannes Film Festival.

From February 16 to 26, the Berlin International Film Festival takes place.
