The much awaited India launch date of Motorola’s Edge 50 Ultra has been formally confirmed. The smartphone will make its public debut on June 18 at noon.

The smartphone will be sold through Flipkart, the official Motorola India website, and a few retail locations, the company has announced.

The news comes after Motorola recently launched a teaser campaign that alluded to the impending release of a new phone in the nation.

Design and AI features of Edge 50 Ultra

After the Edge 50 Pro and Edge 50 Fusion, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will be the third model in the series to be released in India.
The gadget will have Moto AI, a collection of features driven by artificial intelligence.

These include AI adaptive stabilisation for fluid video recording and Magic Canvas, an AI tool that creates visuals from text descriptions.

Three colour options will be offered for the phone: Peach Fuzz, Nordic Wood, and Forest Grey (vegan leather made of silicone).

Edge 50 Ultra’s pricing and specifications

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra’s price has not yet been made public. It will cost more than the Edge 50 Pro, which has a starting price of ₹31,999, though.

The Edge 50 Ultra costs €999 (about ₹89,000) in Europe.

In terms of features, the Indian version is probably going to have the same Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and 6.7-inch 144Hz full-HD+ pOLED display as its worldwide counterpart.
