Unique Imaging Features Of The Vivo S19 & S19 Pro Confirmed

Vivo Brand’s Vice President for China, Jia Jingdong, has shared some important details about the Vivo S19 and S19 Pro on his official Weibo account.

The MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ and Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 will power the Vivo S19 and S19 Pro, respectively. The S19 has a big 6000mAh battery, although the Pro variant has a slightly smaller capacity (5500mAh), and both models enable 80W charging. The S19 Pro will include 512GB of memory, 16GB of RAM, and a 6.78′′ 2800 x 1260 OLED display.

Jia Jingdong verified the earlier reports by stating that the S19 Pro has the first 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 sensor in the market, an additional 50-megapixel Sony telephoto sensor (which offers 50× digital zoom), and a “anti-distortion wide-angle double soft light selfie.” The front-facing 50MP and ultrawide 8MP cameras of the S19 and S19 Pro are similar.

Vivo had a focus on image processing for the S19 series

The camera module of the Vivo S19 series has a “soft light ring” added to it. It seeks to lessen undue shadow contrast on the face or any other objects, as well as “evenly fill in the light” on the subject.

It appears to be a brilliant use of the available technology since when using the main camera, it will spread light over a vast area. However, when using the telephoto, it will also adjust and focus the light into a tighter beam to cover faraway things. It is said to provide various settings with the best possible light texture, colour temperature, and dispersion.

The Vivo S19 series provides “synchronised focus change” in addition to the soft light ring in the camera module, meaning autofocus will be more dependable.

Additionally, the Vivo S19 series offers the most recent and dynamically improved in-house portrait algorithms. Through supervised machine learning, they have also integrated the desire for “beautiful things” into the image AI’s objective function.
