After weeks of teasing, HTech finally debuted the Honour X9b in India today, as scheduled. After the company’s relaunch last year, this is its second smartphone in the nation.

Due of its lower feature set, this handset is less expensive than the Honour 90. It is in direct competition with the recently launched Realme 12 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro in the area.

Honour X9b Technical Details

Despite having a curved screen and a thin, light design, the Honour X9b is positioned as a robust smartphone. Even SGS has awarded the device a 5-star rating for drop resistance.

The phone’s circular ring design was influenced by high-end timepieces. Both plastic and vegan leather finishes are available for the back panel. The handset is 7.98mm thick and weighs approximately 185g total.

The device has a 6.78-inch centred punch-hole curved OLED display on the front. The resolution of the 10-bit panel is 429 PPI and 2652 x 1200 pixels (1.5K). It has a maximum brightness level of 1200 nits, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and 1920 Hz PWM dimming.

The phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC inside. UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR4x RAM are matched with the chipset. Software-wise, it boots Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2.

The phone comes with three cameras: a 108MP main sensor, a 5MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. It features a 16MP selfie camera on the front.

The smartphone has dual SIM, 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GNSS, and USB Type-C, among other necessary communication features. It makes use of an in-screen fingerprint sensor for biometrics.

Last but not least, the phone can be charged with a 35W cable and has a 5,800mAh battery.

India’s Honour X9b Price

In India, the Honour X9b is available with a single memory combination of 8GB + 256GB. Priced at ₹25,999 (~$315), the initial sale on Amazon is set to take place at 12 PM on February 16.

The product is available in two colour options: Sunset Orange (vegan leather) or Midnight Black (plastic).
