February 20, 24 Security Bulletin Launched for the US Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Fold 4

Starting with the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Samsung delivered the security update for February 2024 last week. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 received the update a few days later in the US, but only for the carrier-locked model. In the US, the firm has now made available the latest security update for the factory-unlocked Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 models.

In the USA, the unlocked Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Fold 4 receive a security upgrade in February 2024.

In the US, the latest software update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 unlocked model is currently accessible. It is compatible with the nation’s Comcast and Tracfone networks and has firmware version F926U1TBS5HXAF. In the US, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 unlocked version is also eligible to receive the update, which includes firmware version F936U1UES4EXAD. Updates for T-Mobile and Metro PCS are currently being distributed. In the next days, the update may be made available by additional carriers. This is a reasonably short download because it is only a security update for both phones. Seventy-two security flaws in the prior software version have been fixed by the new security patch.

You may now check your smartphone for the latest update if you own a factory-unlocked Galaxy Z Fold 3 or Galaxy Z Fold 4 in the United States. To accomplish that, launch your phone’s Settings app, go to Software update, and select Download and install. Alternatively, you can manually flash the updated firmware file by downloading it from our firmware database.
