The elegant makeover of Xiaomi’s two flagship smartphones, the 14 and 14 Pro, took inspiration from the company’s newly released SU7 electric vehicle in December.

These limited edition phones, which come in gorgeous Aqua Blue and Verdant Green colours that mirror the EV’s hero colours, are already accepting pre-orders on JD.com in China (Xiaomi 14 | Xiaomi 14 Pro).

The fact that Xiaomi isn’t raising the price for these limited editions is fantastic. The Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro in Aqua Blue and Verdant Green are priced similarly to their standard models. Although they are available for pre-order now, they will formally go on sale at 10 AM China time on January 15, 2024.

Specifications of the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro

Both the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro are premium smartphones with outstanding specifications. The 6.73-inch 2K OLED panel on the Pro is somewhat larger than the 6.36-inch 1.5K OLED display on the Xiaomi 14. The maximum brightness of both phones is 3000nits, with refresh rates of 120Hz.

The Pro sports a 50MP quad-camera setup on the rear, while the Xiaomi 14 sports a 50MP triple-camera system. The primary cameras on both phones are equipped with optical image stabilisation, or OIS.

The Xiaomi 14 and Pro have different capacity batteries: 4610mAh and 4880mAh, respectively. 50W wireless charging and 90W wired charging are supported by both phones.
