The latest low-cost smartphone model from Xiaomi Malaysia, the Redmi 13C 5G, has been made available in our nation.

The MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, which powers the 13C 5G, is matched with 4 or 8GB of RAM and 128 or 256GB of storage. There is a 5000mAh battery behind the hood that can support 18W charging; however, the package only comes with a 10W adaptor.

It has a 6.74-inch 90Hz LCD display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, a peak brightness of 600 nits, DC dimming, TUV Rheinland Blue Light certification, and a teardrop notch that holds the 5MP front camera. The 50MP AI main camera and secondary sensor are located at the back.

A side-mounted fingerprint scanner, AI face unlock, Dual 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, a 3.5mm audio connector, and a choice of Silver, Blue, or Black are among the other noteworthy specifications. The 13C 5G’s base 4/128GB storage model costs RM699 in Malaysia, while the 8/256GB model costs RM999.
