Realme UI 5.0 Early Access For The Realme 9 Pro 5G, Which Runs On Android 14, Is Now Available In India

An early access pass to the new Realme UI 5.0 has been granted to the Realme 9 Pro 5G in India. Based on the Android 14 operating system, this update includes many enhancements and new capabilities, however as it’s still in beta, there are certain limitations.

An improved Aquamorphic Design is included in the Realme UI 5.0, offering a more sophisticated and realistic colour experience. The upgrade also includes improved system notification sounds and new ringtones with an Aquamorphic theme. Along with faster programme launches and increased system stability, users will also notice enhanced system animations.

Two important innovations are the Immediate Shelf with its increased widget options and Fluid Cloud, which provides up-to-date information at a glance. Additionally, security and privacy have been enhanced, and apps may now access photos and videos more quickly thanks to better permission management.

Users ought to be informed that this early access version has a few known bugs. One prominent issue with floating windows is that you can’t slide the desktop; however, you can fix this by bringing down the status bar for a moment. Additionally, although not accessible for now, the Glance Lock-screen feature should be available in upcoming versions.

Realme 9 Pro 5G customers may now enjoy the most recent Realme UI 5.0 version through the Early Access programme, a beta project. Similar to any beta programme, certain apps might not work properly and there might be issues. It is therefore advised against installing this on a primary device.

Applications for the early access programme opened on January 27, 2024, for individuals who were interested. It’s crucial to remember that there are only a certain amount of spaces available and that applications are processed in batches. To avoid data loss, users must make sure their phone is not rooted, have more than 15GB of free storage, and regularly backup their data. Furthermore, it is not assured that every application will receive the update, and those who do not are recommended to exercise patient.

Users must enable Developer Mode, upgrade their device to the designated UI version, have their Realme 9 Pro 5G charged over 60%, and apply via the Software upgrade Application channel in order to be eligible.
