By Profession, Isabela Moner is a singer as well as an American actress. She recently gained fame for her role as Dora in the 2019 movie Dora and the Lost City of Gold. Isabela is also known as Isabela Merced, a stage name she changed on the 14th of October, 2019. Apart from movies, she also has roles in various television series and has also made several television appearances. Her net worth is estimated to be around $1 million.

Biography

Isabela Moner was born on the 10th of July, 2001 in Cleveland, a city in Ohio, United States. Her parents are Patrick Moner and Katherine Moner. She belongs to a Peruvian descent and has dual citizenship in America and Peru. Talking about her educational qualifications, Moner is a college graduate, who was accepted to college at age 15 years old. Isabela started acting at a local community theatre since the young age of 6 years old. Her first performance was in Broadway’s show, Evita. She then released an album titled Stopping Time in 2015 under Broadway Records.

Career

Isabela started her acting career in the movie through the 2013 movie The House That Jack Built, where she played the role of Young Nadia. She then appeared in the recurring role of Jenny in 7 episodes of Growing Up Fisher in 2014. In the same year, she got the main voice role of Kate in the series Dora and Friends: Into the City! She played this role until 2017. Furthermore, in 2014, Isabela Moner played her first lead role as CJ Martin in the series 100 Things to Do Before High School for two years. She then played in a television film titled Splitting Adam in 2015, where she played the role of Lori Collins. In 2016, she played roles in two movies; the role of Jeanne Galleta in Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life and another role of Sadie in the television film Legends of the Hidden Temple.

Isabela landed the role of Izabela in the movie Transformers: The Last Knight in 2017. In the same year, she got a voice role of Heather in the movie titled The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature. She then played a video game voice role of Ava in Kingdom Hearts x Back Cover in 2017. Isabela then played in an action thriller movie titled Sicario: Day of the Soldado as Isabel Reyes. She then played the role of Lizzy in an American-comedy movie titled Instant Family the same year. This movie brought her immense fame and two awards in 2019. In 2019, she played the role of Dora in adventure film Dora and the Lost City of Gold. After this movie, she changed her stage name to Isabela Merced and played the role of Julie in Let it, Snow. In the same year, she appeared in one episode of a reality television competition series titled The Amazing Race Canada.
