Early Renders Of The iPhone 16 Pro And 16 Pro Max Reveal A New Capture Button

Early prototypes of Apple’s future iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max variants, which are anticipated to launch in September 2024, have been made public thanks to MacRumors. Unsurprisingly, the general design is still the same, but there are a few adjustments reportedly in the works.

The biggest change that is reportedly most noticeable right away is that both versions have larger screens. It is anticipated that the Pro may increase in size to 6.27 inches, and the Pro Max may have a large 6.85-inch screen. The gadget will be larger in proportion to the increase in screen real estate.

The iPhone 16 Pro is expected to weigh 194 grammes and have dimensions of 149.6 x 71.45 x 8.25 mm, while the 16 Pro Max is expected to weigh 225 grammes and have dimensions of 163 x 77.58 x 8.25 mm.

It’s also reported that a Capture button would be added to the cellphones. It is said to have a force sensor and to be located directly beneath the power button, flush with the phone’s chassis. The new button, which will serve as a shortcut for the camera app, is anticipated to be limited to iPhones made in the Pro model.

There may be an enhancement in the camera division as well. A notable improvement over the existing 12MP sensors, the 48MP ultrawide lenses in both Pro versions may be included. Furthermore, the Pro Max and lesser model may both come with the powerful 5x tetraprism zoom lens, which allows for closer shots of far-off objects.

Although internal details are still being kept under wraps, Apple’s next A18 Bionic CPU is most certainly going to power the 16 Pro series.

It’s crucial to keep in mind that these are only rumours and leaks, and the actual iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max may differ in terms of functionality and style. But these preliminary leaks provide an idea of what Apple may be planning for its next flagship models.
