The legendary James Bond film series is supposedly about to undergo a major upheaval as British actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson is rumored to have been given the role of the next 007.

The actor from “Kick-Ass” and “Avengers,” who served in that capacity for 15 years, is expected to take over as MI6’s most well-known spy.

The James Bond franchise is produced by Eon Productions, and industry experts anticipate that Mr. Taylor-Johnson will soon announce his confirmation of the part. Filming is expected to begin later this year. Although the actor has accepted the offer, official confirmation is still pending while the studio and fans anxiously await his choice.

Aaron has the responsibility of bonding, should he choose to take on that role. A source told The Sun, “Bond is Aaron’s job, should he wish to accept it. The formal offer is on the table and they are waiting to hear back,” “As far as Eon is concerned, Aaron is going to sign his contract in the coming days and they can start preparing for the big announcement.”

Hollywood strikes caused delays in the production of the next Bond movie last year.

Insiders, however, have revealed that the script is presently under development, with filming scheduled to take place at Buckinghamshire’s famed Pinewood Studios.

Amidst a plethora of competitors, Mr. Taylor-Johnson, 33, surfaced as a front-runner. Notable actors including Cillian Murphy, Idris Elba, Henry Cavill, and James Norton were on the list.

Mr. Taylor-Johnson’s varied acting resume has earned him a great deal of attention.

Originating from High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, he made his acting debut in films such as “The Apocalypse,” “Angus, Thongs And Perfect Snogging,” and the most recent “Bullet Train,” costarring Brad Pitt. His performance as a psychotic character in the 2016 film “Nocturnal Animals” brought him a Golden Globe for best supporting actor and put him in the running for the highly sought-after James Bond part.

During a questioning last week, he expressed his interest in taking on the character of James Bond, saying, “I find it charming and wonderful that people see me in that role. I take it as a great compliment.”
