Malaysia Approves The Tecno Pova 6 via SIRIM Prior To Release

Tecno is preparing for the MWC 2024 smartphone launch of the Pova 6 series. This smartphone has been showing up on certification sites ahead of launch; the most recent one is Malaysia’s SIRIM certification.

As part of a portfolio that also includes the Tecno Pova 6 Neo and Pova 6 Pro 5G, which are anticipated to be sold under the model numbers L16 and L19, respectively, the Tecno Pova 6 is certified under the code L17.

Europe has recently granted the Declaration of Conformity to both the regular and Pro variants. Some important aspects, like a sizable 6,000mAh battery and possible support for 70W fast charging, were made clear by this certification listing. Tecno Pova 6 precise specs, however, are still being kept secret.

The Tecno Pova 6 Pro may also be released in Thailand, as evidenced by earlier sightings of the gadget on the NBTC certification platform.

Recently, the Pova 6 Pro 5G—which is anticipated to be the series’ high point—appears on the Google Play Console listing. According to the listing, the smartphone would have a Full HD+ display, be powered by a Dimensity 6080 chipset, run the most recent version of Android 14, and have 12GB of RAM.

Tecno will exhibit a wide range of items at MWC 2024 in addition to smartphones.

This includes the introduction of the Windows-based Pocket Go handheld gaming console, the revolutionary Dynamic 1 intelligent dog, the Megabook T16 Pro 2024 Ultra notebook, and a concept model of the Tecno Phantom Ultimate, which will have a special rollable display.
