Zoom declares software will be accessible in new Tesla models

Zoom declared during the annual product showcase event on Tuesday its video conferencing software will soon be accessible in Tesla vehicles.

A delegate with Zoom affirmed the declaration on Tuesday evening.

“I can confirm that the Zoom integration for Tesla will be available on all new Tesla models soon,” Zoom Product PR Manager Beth McLaughlin said in an email to Fox Business. “We want to make Zoom easy to access wherever our customers are – whether they’re in the office, at home, or in transit.”

Clients, she added, truly want to join Zoom Meetings from their vehicles, especially once daily commutes and office life gets back to normal.

Zoom made the declaration Canadian at Zoomtopia 2022, only months after Tesla released a preview of its V11 software update.

In the software in the background YouTube video, shots show a blue icon with a white camera and what appears to be “Zoom” under on the Tesla screen.

It is as yet unclear when the software will be added to Tesla vehicles.

Tesla didn’t respond to requests looking for extra data about the rollout, or specifics with respect to the agreement between Zoom and the electric vehicle manufacturer began by Elon Musk.

In spite of the fact that Zoom was begun in 2011, it was only after the pandemic that the organization became a household name.

Preceding the pandemic, Zoom essentially served businesses, hosting trainings and webinars. In any case, between the finish of 2019 and April 2020, the organization developed from 10 million clients to more than 300 million, eclipsing competitors, for example, Microsoft’s Skype, Apple’s FaceTime, Google Meet, and Cisco Webex.
