Tom Cruise lands helicopter in UK family’s nursery because of airfield shutdown

The activity star, who’s currently shooting the seventh portion of “Mission Impossible” in the UK, had to make a crisis helicopter arriving in a Warwickshire garden because of adjacent Coventry Airport being shut down temporarily.
“It turned out to be an incredible day,” homeowner Alison Webb said, according to the BBC. “It was surreal, I still now can’t believe it happened.”
Webb and her family were told their field was required for a mysterious “VIP who was running late.” It ended up being the three-time Golden Globe victor, 59.
“I thought it would be kind of cool for the kids to see the helicopter land in the garden,” she said. “He [Cruise] basically arrived and got out and it was like ‘Wow.’”
