Barry Kibwika, Aka Harnun: The Man And The Mind Behind The Creative Excellence Of His Fashion Lines

Sabaa and The 47th Dynasty radiates his brilliance in multiple ways as he tries to reclaim the cultural essence from where he hails.

The fashion industry of the world is perhaps among the very few that have always shown signs of consistent growth over the years. The world knows that the industry keeps the doors open for all those that exceed beyond limits in fashion and try to bring about a wave of change through their designs. Hence, the industry is also known to be fiercely competitive. Especially people from the younger brigade have come forward to prove their mettle to the world with their fashion genius. One such genius we would be talking about today is Barry Kibwika, more popularly known as Harnun.

Whether it is fashion lines “Sabaa” and “The 47th Dynasty” or his books, Harnun has always fascinated people across Africa and America and even beyond that. The 1989-born passionate man originally from Uganda and then from Florida loves playing basketball and doing yoga and meditation. Today, this man has done something unusual in the fashion industry with his two fashion lines, where he serves as the ace Chief Director and owner.

As if becoming a fashion genius wasn’t enough for him, Harnun also authored The 47th Dynasty Kemetic Spiritual books collection, with the recent being “Return back to self love,” which is a spiritual guide towards enlightenment and healing. His fashion sense, understanding, acumen, and passion have impressed not just ordinary people but also the who’s who of the entertainment world, where his designs were worn by artists like Chris Brown and French Montana and Author and Holistic Healer Queen Afua.

His life started in Kampala, Uganda, and hence he was able to witness the beauty of the present cultural trends and their connection to the ancestral origins through the Nile Valley Civilizations. Transforming knowledge and reclaiming the cultural essence through the way people dress became his inspiration.
